We’re kicking off a new series this week called “Being Comfortable in Your Own Skin.” At first it might sound like we’re trying to help people feel better about their bodies. Well, that might be a by product, but we’re really looking at our hearts and how we live our lives.

Too many of us go through life pretending to be someone we’re not to win the affection of others or to be accepted by a certain group of peers, yet deep down we’re afraid to let them see who we really are and that they will reject us. If you ask me, that’s a pretty cruddy way to go through life – and it’s not the way God created us to go through life!

Join us un the month of April as we take four weeks to examine our lives and what it takes to live honestly and let people see the real us. Ultimately, it is the most satisfying, gratifying way to go.

Also, we will conclude the series on April 24th, which is Easter. All families are welcome to come be a part. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt for the children that Sunday evening.

Hey, if you came out to the Tyrone Wells concert, it was rockin’ and awesome! The band was fantastic, the food was incredible and it was great to see everyone there! Thanks to everyone who joined us. Big thanks to the band for coming out and spending the evening with us, signing autographs and taking pictures – all you guys (and Elina) were so cool and we appreciate you so much! For everyone that came, we look forward to seeing you all again and hanging out and listening to some good music while we grub on some good food!

Can you believe it? Tyrone Wells and band are coming to our neck of the woods. It is going to be an awesome concert!

Bring your friends and come on out! The concert is limited to 299 in the building, so it is first come, first in. However, if you don’t make it inside, you’ll still be able to hear the concert from outside. Plus, we are having free food at 4pm! What’s for eats? Pulled pork sandwiches with a beverage (water, Pepsi or Diet Pepsi).

The doors for the concert will open at 4:30pm, with the concert starting at 5. Plus there will be three prizes to win from our raffles. We will be giving away two itouches (each with a couple cd’s from Tyrone and the band as well as a t-shirt). We will also be giving away an acoustic/electric guitar signed by Tyrone himself.

Hey there.  Well, Just Walk Across the Room is finally here.  We are beginning the series THIS Friday night!     It is going to be a great series on sharing the love of Jesus with others around us.  You  don’t want to miss out on the fun.

Also, we have some home groups set up for mid week studies that are available to you.

Hey Encounter,

Its a great thing, VBS has taken over the church. It’s been a really coool week and the kids are having a ton of fun. The sanctuary looks awesome! With all the decorations and everything going on, we are going to have encounter at Veterans Park this Friday. We’ll do some worship and have a devotion there at 7, just like normal. The park has a volleyball court, 2 half court basketball courts, a playground for children and lots of grass to kick a soccer ball or throw a frisbee or football or whatever. We are gonna set up a couple canopies for a little shade. Also, bring your own chairs or a blanket to sit on. You can make some sandwiches or pick up food and come early to hang out. We’ll be there early to play some volleyball, if anyone wants.

The park is located at Denni St. and Ball Rd. It’s only a couple miles from the church. If you have any questions, give us a call or an email. Otherwise, we will see you all at the park on Friday!
